Physiotherapy in Edwardstown
The same science-backed physiotherapy we deliver in the Adelaide CBD, closer to home for the inner southern suburbs — from our partner location at the Arruda Clinic on Cross Road, Edwardstown.
Saunders Physiotherapy at the Arruda Clinic
We run Saunders Physiotherapy services from the Arruda Clinic, 375 Cross Road, Edwardstown SA 5039 — our partner clinic in Adelaide's inner south. It means patients from Edwardstown, Melrose Park, Ascot Park, St Marys, Clovelly Park, Mitchell Park and the surrounding suburbs can see our physiotherapists without a trip into the city.
You get the same team, the same standards and the same approach to care — just a more convenient location if you live or work south of the CBD.
When we consult at Edwardstown
Our physiotherapists see patients at the Arruda Clinic four days a week:
- Monday 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Tuesday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
- Wednesday 7:30am – 5:30pm
- Thursday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
We do not run Edwardstown appointments on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The early Monday and Wednesday starts suit patients who want treatment before work, while the Tuesday and Thursday afternoons run late enough for after-school and after-work visits. If none of those times work for you, our Gilles Street clinic in the CBD is open Monday to Friday, from 7:00am on Tuesday and Friday.
The same science-backed approach
Everything we do is grounded in measurement and evidence. Our director, Dr Steve Saunders, pioneered the KangaTech injury prevention system in the AFL, and that thinking runs through every program we write — including at Edwardstown, where your rehabilitation and strength programming is informed by the same KangaTech-based methods we use in the city.
Expect a thorough assessment, a clear explanation of what is going on, and a plan built around your goals rather than a one-size-fits-all routine.
What we help with
Our Edwardstown patients see us for the full range of everyday and sporting problems: back and neck pain, headaches, shoulder, hip and knee injuries, muscle strains and tendon problems, rehabilitation after surgery, and structured strength programs to keep injuries from coming back.
Whether you are an athlete in season, getting back into exercise, or simply want to move without pain, care is tailored to you.
Edwardstown or the city — which clinic should I choose?
Choose whichever is easier to get to — the care is the same. For most consultations, Edwardstown is the convenient choice if you live or work in the inner south.
Our Gilles Street clinic in the CBD houses our full technology suite, including the KangaTech KT360 testing system, VALD ForceDecks force plates, shockwave therapy, real-time ultrasound and video analysis. If your care would benefit from formal KangaTech profiling, force plate testing, shockwave therapy or other specialised testing, we may suggest a visit to Gilles Street for that session, with the rest of your program delivered wherever suits you best.
What to look for when you arrive
The Arruda Clinic shares its Cross Road entrance with several other health and fitness businesses, so look for the Saunders Physiotherapy logo at the top of the door panel rather than a shopfront of our own. Inside, our consulting room door carries the same logo beside the KangaTech kangaroo.
If you cannot spot us from the street, phone (08) 8410 5666 and we will come out and meet you.

Do I need a referral?
No — you can book directly with our physiotherapists at either location. A referral is only needed for certain funded programs, such as a Medicare care plan arranged by your GP.
